PacMoore appoints a new Vice President of Sales & Marketing; puts emphasis on strategic planning

Hammond, IN (September 2008) – In a move to continue to build PacMoore’s brand and unique position, Chris Bekermeier has joined the company as the new Vice President of Sales & Marketing. PacMoore has already established a solid reputation as one of the leading co-manufacturers in the Midwest and this strategic hire illustrates the company’s desire to build the resources needed for growth.
Chris has extensive sales and marketing experience with major CPG companies. After earning his BS degree in Business Administration from Eastern Illinois University, he held sales roles of increasing responsibility with Armour Swift-Eckrich and Scott Paper. Subsequent to moving to ConAgra, Chris earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and held a series of marketing roles having the opportunity to manage well-known consumer brands such as Healthy Choice, Armour, and Butterball.
At Pacmoore, strategic planning will be the key priority for the newly appointed Vice President. Chris will also be charged with a range of other functions, including brand building, positioning, advertising, promotions, consumer insights, and public relations. He’ll also be responsible for packaging development, customer development, and sales management.
