We are seeking Production Workers for all 3 shifts. You will be responsible for the continuous flow of packaging systems in a fast-paced work environment.
Position Summary
Clean, set-up, operate systems to include high speed packaging lines, palletize, blend, consumer packaging, re-packaging, Responsible for the continuous flow of systems in a fast pace work environment.
Shift Times
Work Week is Monday through Saturday
- 1st Shift – 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
- 2nd Shift – 3:45 p.m. to 12:15 a.m.
- 3rd Shift – 11:45 p.m. to 8:15 a.m.
System Operator’s Duties
- Set up production systems; assemble a custom system station using machine units, based on a customized order.
- Operate equipment and monitor the flow of product into containers to include putting product into a system from bags, boxes, drums and bulk bags.
- Monitor equipment operations for quality, food safety, customer and PacMoore standards.
- Fill and pack product manually and/or by using a machine into containers such as bags, boxes, drums or bulk bags. Off-load product containers from equipment to a pallet for transport.
- Clean machinery by using a dry clean process and/or a wet wash process to thoroughly clean systems and units according to standards and process requirements.
Work Expectations
- Work a 40-hour work week with potential overtime when needed.
- Arrive on time and prepared; promptly clock in / out prior to and after shift.
- Wear a required uniform and Personal Protective Equipment to include bump cap, hair and/or beard net, earplugs and respirator masks (company provides)
- Participate in exercise /stretching at the beginning of each shift.
- We make food, so must have proper hygiene habits (clean hands, body, hair, clothing, etc.). Employees are required to wash their hands after breaks and lunch.
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Classroom and On the Job Training is provided.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure understanding of the employee handbook.
Environmental Conditions
Conditions include exposure to constant or intermittent noise. Ear plugs are required. In addition, there is exposure to conditions such as dusts, chemicals, and allergens that can affect the respiratory system, eyes or, the skin (milk, wheat, tree nuts, soy and eggs). Safety gear including hard hats is required for bump protection and to prevent exposure to potential contaminants.
Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

- Physical ability to meet strength and movement requirements daily.

- Men Only: Must be clean shaven daily to adhere to dust mask qualifications.
- Women Only: No fake or acrylic nails, no nail polish, nails must be cut short.
Pre-Placement Testing
- Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously.
- Pass a pre-employment physical (company paid)
- Pass a basic math and reading assessment (Must be able to read English at an 8th grade level).
