Job Summary
The Account Manager will meet and exceed all customer requirements, lead the performance of tasks necessary to effectively manage the day-to-day contact for assigned, established customers, managing multiple manufacturing orders from order placement through to shipment. Answer the phones in a professional tone, while taking orders and returning calls from customers. Additionally, initiate and verify all necessary paperwork is completed, signed and received prior to releasing any non-compliant product to the customer.
Primary Responsibilities
- The Account Manager will be responsible to build teamwork with sales, scheduling, inventory, and logistics staff.
- Prepare Schedule for Production stations, including railcars and incoming bulk trucks.
- Maintain updated production schedule in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate customer orders in a timely manner.
- Understand all production equipment and Raw Materials used by PacMoore, in order to assist in effective production scheduling.
- Prepare plant production orders.
- Verify order and expedite needed materials for production. Negotiate acceptable price on all Raw Material purchases.
- Enter incoming receipts to Inventory.
- Maintain Cycle Count Accuracies and reconcile inventory issues.
- Prepare Quarterly Inventory report and assist in annual inventory.
- Complete Location moves in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Track all railcar movements and create necessary system for timely delivery of all railcars.
- Maintain and audit all production and inventory paperwork for accuracy.
- Process samples for Lab and ship samples in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or other ‘complex’ customer service environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills to provide written communications and documentation to customers.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong computer skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong math skills including working with decimals, fractions, weight conversions, and percent calculations.
- Analytical; ability to resolve complex challenges and follow through to completion.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to change and think quickly and clearly in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, with a strong sense of urgency.
- Willingness and ability to consistently contribute to a positive work environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team while achieving results independently
