PacMoore Sponsors Sheltering Wings Event Featuring “American Idol” Winner Jordin Sparks

Jordin Sparks, the youngest winner of “American Idol” at 17 years old (she is now 22), recently visited the Sheltering Wings housing facility in Danville, Indiana. The event was sponsored by PacMoore.

During her visit, Sparks sang to the children, read books and did crafts, signed autographs, and answered questions about being on “American Idol.” She spoke about her faith in God, as well as the importance of family and Jesus Christ in her life.

Sheltering Wings is a 24-hour safe emergency housing facility for victims of domestic violence and their children. The shelter provides education, support and assistance – both emotional and economic. The center focuses on extending the love and compassion of Jesus Christ to women and children in need.

In addition to Sheltering Wings, other organizations that PacMoore supports include Kids Across America Kamps, the Bridge Teen Center and the Southside Pregnancy Center. For more information about the organizations we support, visit https://www.pacmoore.com/organizations-we-support.
