Life Transformation through our Indiana Dream Team (IDT) Partnership

Providing a New Path

Under the leadership of Bill Moore, helping people grow has always been foundational to PacMoore’s vision and mission. We take to heart what Jesus says in the Bible about caring for those who are in need of finding a new path in life. They may be suffering financially, emotionally or spiritually. Certainly those who are rejected by our society because of their past mistakes are suffering. Many people who come out of our prison system don’t get a second chance. They just need to unwind some poor choices they have made, and that’s what we’re called to help them do. We have watched many of these individuals grasp this second chance and when they have, we have been blessed to watch lives transformed firsthand.

Our Partnership with IDT

Adam Rawlins, our plant manager at PacMoore in Mooresville, IN. introduced Eric Lashbrook, the director of IDT to PacMoore. IDT provides a place where a small community of ex-convicts and others with drug-related problems can live and work together while they develop a vision and goals for their futures, creating a new trajectory for their lives. When individuals are ready to reenter the workforce, PacMoore has become a great fit. Our Christian values have given us something in common with IDT’s program, and we’re able to be the type of structured environment which can reinforce teamwork and relational skills, while also providing important work experience – whether it be on our dry blending, spray drying, or extrusion systems or in other important areas within our plants.
