Thanks to PacMoore’s unique combination of ESL/GED education and professionally developed training on the floor and at workstations, our employees communicate better and are able to work to a higher standard of excellence in quality, safety and efficiency. Our training programs are unique and unmatched in the industry. We operate on “Seeing is Believing” — our training is designed to communicate chunks of information in a concise delivery method with visuals for additional understanding. Designed to exceed BRC and GMA-SAFE certification standards, our programs bring continuous improvement to PacMoore’s work process and to our people. PacMoore Plant Training

New Employee Orientation
All new production employees receive this course, which teaches them our manufacturing flow process and gives them the big-picture knowledge to make effective, quality decisions, to solve-problems successfully and to perform their jobs safely. Led by an experienced trainer, the course ends with two written tests.

On-The-Job Training And Basic Skills Certification
This program provides a documentation and training system that enables plant employees to perform to defined standard operating procedures. An ongoing one-on-one SOP training/coaching and certification process elevates employee performance while enhancing production throughput and quality.

Target Talks
This proprietary training system was developed to teach and reinforce the key components of our operations from start to finish. These sessions are taught in an engaging and interactive way on the plant floor with a focus on fostering understanding and retention. For example, some Target Talk sessions include: Safety, Quality, Basic Energy and Standard Operating Procedures.

Safe Training Program (Stop, Analyze, Fix, Educate)
This multi-level program promotes and teaches related safety and quality requirements while also stimulating and developing problem-solving abilities.

English As A Second Language (ESL) And Math
These ongoing 16-week educational sessions give our employees the necessary language skills to communicate better with their coworkers. This increases worker and food safety, builds stronger teams and creates a positive work environment that helps us deliver excellence. Math study helps to ensure precision and accuracy in our processing operations. Skill levels are assessed at the completion of each session. Our training has allowed many of our production workers to earn their GEDs and position themselves for higher education. These training courses foster loyalty and increase our average employee tenure. This also ensures that the best trained personnel possible are processing your products at PacMoore.
