Organizations We Support

Partners Worldwide

Partners Worldwide is a dynamic global network of business and professional people who bear witness to their faith and love in Jesus Christ so that rich and poor, individuals and groups, communities and nations are transformed to more completely reflect the kingdom of God.

The movement of Partners Worldwide began with a simple question: “Is there a way for businesspeople to become part of the solution to ending poverty, instead of being seen as part of the problem?” In the countries where we work we partner with local business champions and networks that care about their communities, know the business environment, and can build on the local resources. We desire to see transformation of the lives of all who are involved.

John Jay Institute

John Jay (1745-1829) was arguably the most religious, social, and politically conservative of the principal founders of the American Republic. Named for this important American founder, the mission of the Institute is to prepare committed men and women like Jay for leadership in public life. It is our vision to raise up men and women of high principles who are characterized by the virtues of wisdom and justice, truth and mercy, prudence and courage. Clearly there is a pressing need for leadership today. In response, the Institute offers residential fellowships for college graduates aspiring to public vocations as well as various educational resources for anyone interested in exploring the nexus of religion and public life.

Our founders were motivated by the Christian example of giving practical help for mothers in need by providing life-affirming helps. Also provided are referrals to community resources, agencies, and assistance in obtaining medical care and housing.

Executive Ministries

Executive Ministries is an interdenominational ministry begun in the early 1960's, committed to helping to fulfill the Great Commission by reaching out to the executive, professional, and leadership community. We turn influencers into leaders. We live in a day when influencers control events without an eternal destination, and value things while using people. We see a day when leaders embrace eternal hopes over earthly goals and spend things to save people.

It is our premise that true leadership follows the model of Christ and focuses on two primary areas – heart transformation and skill development that allow for the faithful accomplishment of the Great Commission.

Over 650 staff members and 7,500 volunteers in 94 countries boldly proclaim Jesus Christ, deeply equip believers to lead and urgently mobilize ambassadors of Good News and Good Will in the fulfillment of the Great Commission.

By The Hand Club for Kids

Since its beginning in 2001 with 16 children, By The Hand has witnessed tremendous transformation within the lives of our kids—and as an organization. This year we will serve 851 kids and, we hope, 1,000 by the year 2012. As we continue to grow, we’re reaching out to more children in different neighborhoods and introducing ourselves to new supporters across the country.

By The Hand is unlike conventional programs. While we emphasize measurable educational goals, our focus is on loving the whole child—which leads us to focus on all aspects of child development. We literally and figuratively take kids By The Hand and walk alongside them from the time they enroll in our program until they're adults, walking independently with the Lord. We tutor them to academic excellence. We mentor them to their full potential. And we care for them as our own.

Elim Christian Services

At Elim, we seek to move beyond the notions that the world continues to hold about persons with disabilities. Life at Elim stands in contrast to the world’s view. Through its three major program areas on two Chicago-area campuses and in 17 Discovery locations, over 400 servants work each day to bring 800 persons with disabilities beyond their potential to become the living testimonies God created them to be.

Hearts in Motion

The mission of Hearts In Motion is to provide care and medical treatment for children, families, and communities through its programs and sponsorships in the U.S., and Central and South America. An additional goal is to provide opportunities for individuals to participate in short-term mission experiences. The impact of the trip experience on each team member is at least as great as the impact on the lives of the people we touch. Many lives are changed.
