Quality Certifications (GFSI / BRC and GMA-SAFE) In the food processing business today, HACCP plans and the use of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are generally found throughout the industry. At PacMoore, we consider them minimum requirements, as our quality standards consistently exceed them. That is an integral part of our Certified PacMoore Co-Manufacturing.

In 2009, both PacMoore plants were proved to align with GFSI standards by receiving BRC certification. The BRC standard sets requirements for food safety, quality, and integrity for companies that are involved in processing or preparation of food or food ingredients. The BRC provides a simple yet thorough two-fold approach to food safety: identify health hazards and establish and maintain safety measures to prevent those hazards. This accredited, certifiable standard is the most used GFSI standard with over 10,500 certificated sites worldwide.

Both PacMoore facilities are also officially certified by the Food Products Association (FPA), now Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) - the world's largest trade association, representing the food, beverage, and consumer products industry. GMA provides Supplier Assessments for Food Excellence (GMA-SAFE), which means PacMoore has two stringent third party audits to verify stellar food production and handling policies and practices. PacMoore's BRC and GMA-SAFE certifications give you ultimate peace of mind when you're looking for a reliable, certified co-manufacturer ready to exceed your quality expectations.

Food Standard Approvals (Kosher, Grade A, Gluten Free, Organic, and Halal)

Should your PacMoore-processed ingredients need to be kosher, you can feel comfortable knowing that PacMoore routinely obtains such certifications under kosher supervision by the Orthodox Union, allowing customers' products to carry kosher labeling with respect to the ingredients we process.

PacMoore was very excited in 2009 to become the only dry powder dairy milk handler in the State of Indiana that is approved to process Grade A dry dairy products. Grade A PMO is the basic standard used in governing the processing, packaging, and sale of Grade A milk and milk products.

Another unique benefit PacMoore offers is the ability to produce gluten-free products which have seen rapid demand growth with the increasing diagnosis of Celiac Disease. Both our plant in Mooresville, IN and newly established bakery in Hammond, IN have received certifications from the Gluten-Free Certification Organization.

PacMoore also has Organic Certification from Quality Assurance International who provides a watchful eye for organic products from seed to shelf. In addition, PacMoore has been approved and registered to produce halal products under the supervision of the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of America (IFANCA).
